My Dad.

My dad is really great and he can do anything.

He's just really, really smart and well-rounded.
He used to braid my hair when I was little. He built our house. He can fix cars. He almost has his doctorate. He coaches football. He runs. He can play the guitar and banjo. He is kind. He cooks dinner. He has an incredible work ethic. He builds furniture. He's really good with computers. He is completely selfless and giving. He knows a lot about science and history. He likes to garden. He can wire a house. He can install a hot water heater. He does nice things for us just because he wants to. He can build treehouses and hang swings. He loves me a lot and has always stood by my side...even when I was a jerk in High School and didn't really deserve it.

I'm really thankful that I have a solid example of a good man in my life. It gives you hope that there are guys out there that can just be.....smart and strong and will protect and love you unconditionally forever. I'm thankful that I know what a really good man is and that if you don't measure up to my Dad, there is someone else out there that will.
